Does the Rogers Connections Mastercard have an annual fee?

All Rogers Bank credit cards do not have an annual fee.
Can I receive Rogers benefits without linking my accounts?

No. To receive Rogers benefits, link your Rogers Connections™ Mastercard® in the Rogers Bank app to your MyRogers account. To learn how to link your account, click here.
You can also call our contact centre and one of our customer service agents will be happy to assist you.
I have a Rogers mobile account and my Rogers home services are included in my rental/condo fees. Am I eligible for 2% unlimited cash back?

Unfortunately, you will not be eligible to receive 2% unlimited cash back on all purchases. However, you will still be eligible to receive 2% unlimited cash back on U.S. dollar purchases, 1% unlimited cash back on all other eligible purchases, and 5 annual Roam Like Home™ days at no cost.1,2
When will my account show the new earn rate after linking?

It may take up to 7 business days for changes to your status and/or account linking to be updated and for you to start earning a new cash back rate.
Where can I see my earn rate and earned cash back rewards?

Review the options below to view your earn rates and earned cash back reward history. Your earn rate status can only be viewed in the Rogers Bank app.
Rogers Bank app
Sign in to the Rogers Bank app, then:
- Tap Rewards
- Tap Earned Rewards History to view your earned cash back rewards. Your earn rate will be displayed in the blue banner at the top of the page.
Online Banking
- Sign In
- Click Cash Back Rewards
- Click Rewards Summary
- Select monthly or year-to-date in the drop-down menu to view your rewards for that period.
- You can filter by card number for primary and supplementary cards.
- Click Accumulation Details to view your rewards.
Note: To determine what your earn rate is on everyday purchases sign in to the Rogers Bank app or call the number on the back of your card.

Call the number on the back of your card and one of our customer service agents can help you verify your earn rate.
What is the Rogers Redemption Bonus and how do I redeem it?

The Rogers Redemption Bonus is exclusively available to Rogers Connections™ Mastercard® cardholders and provides you with a 30% bonus on your earned cash back value when redeemed for Rogers purchases like your monthly Rogers bill or phone and accessory purchases.
Example: Let’s assume you have accumulated $100 in cashback rewards. You can apply this to a non-Rogers purchase and receive a credit of $100. However, if you redeem the same $100 in cashback rewards against a Rogers purchase, you will receive a credit of $130. So, if you paid your monthly Rogers bill of $200 using your Rogers Connections Mastercard, you can redeem using the Rogers Redemption Bonus Amount of $130 towards this transaction.

Roam Like Home™ Benefits
What is Roam Like Home?

- For $12 per day in the U.S. and $15 per day in over 185 eligible international destinations, you get full access to the data, talk and text included in your monthly plan.
- Call and text Canadian numbers just as you would at home on your monthly plan, as well as numbers in the eligible destination you’re visiting.
- The daily fee covers each calendar day of usage until 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), regardless of which time zone you are roaming in.

When do my Roam Like Home days reset?

Your 5 Roam Like Home™ days will reset every year on the account anniversary date (as long as the account is in good standing). Your anniversary date is the day your account was opened.
Note: if you switched from another Rogers Bank card to the Rogers Connections Mastercard, then your Roam Like Home days will reset on the date that your original credit card account was opened.
Sign in to the Rogers Bank app and tap Rewards > Roam Like Home to view your Roam Like Home activity.
Where do I find how many Roam Like Home days have been used and are remaining?

You can view your Roam Like Home™ credits on your Rogers bill. Click here to sign in to your Rogers account or sign in to the MyRogers app.
You can review your Roam Like Home activity in the Rogers Bank app:
- Tap Rewards on the navigation menu
- Tap Roam Like Home Benefits
You can view your recent activity and the activity you completed in the previous year.
If you don’t have access to the Rogers Bank app you can call a Rogers Bank customer service representative at 1 855 775-2265 for assistance.
Can I save my unused Roam Like Home days for another year?

No, your Roam Like Home™ days will reset every year. Unused Roam Like Home days cannot be carried over.
I have multiple phone numbers on my Rogers account, can I choose which phone number will receive the Roam Like Home benefits?

No, any phone number on the Rogers account that you linked to your Rogers Connections™ Mastercard® account can use the Roam Like Home™ benefits on a first come, first served basis.
Product Switch FAQs
How do I switch to the Rogers Connections Mastercard?

Call the Rogers Bank call centre at 1 855 775-2265 if you would like to switch products:
- Select your language preference.
- Press option ‘1’ in the main menu.
- Follow the prompts to enter your credit card number and PIN
- Press ‘0’ after your account summary is provided.
When I switch to a Rogers Connections Mastercard, will my credit card number change?

You should receive a new card within 7 to 10 business days.
Your card number will change if you switch from a Fido Mastercard or a Rogers World Elite Mastercard to the Rogers Connections™ Mastercard®. If you switch from a Platinum Mastercard, your card number will stay the same. In either case, be sure to update any pre-authorized payments you have on your current card with your new credit card details (card number, CVV, and expiry date) upon switching.
If I switch to the Rogers Connections Mastercard, what will happen to any automated payments and subscriptions I’ve set up?

Any regular recurring payments set up on your existing credit card (such as your Rogers wireless or internet bill, streaming services, etc.) will need to be updated. Contact the merchants as soon as you receive your new credit card and provide them with your new credit card number.
Can I have a Rogers Connections Mastercard and another Rogers Bank Mastercard at the same time?

You can switch from any Rogers Bank Mastercard to the Rogers Connections™ Mastercard® (or vice versa) at any time as long as you meet any qualification requirements. However, you can only have one credit card account from Rogers Bank at any time.
What happens to my cash back rewards when I switch to another Rogers Bank card?

Your cash back rewards will be transferred to your new card.

How do I know what Rogers accounts are eligible or not eligible to be linked with my Rogers Connections Mastercard account?

Once you have activated your Rogers Connections Mastercard, you will be eligible to link your account to your Rogers account. Your Rogers account and Rogers Bank account must be in good standing.
Eligible Accounts
- Any Rogers consumer account where you are either the primary account holder or have permission to make changes (i.e. Level 1 Authorized User). Only one Rogers Connections Mastercard can be linked to one MyRogers account.
- If you are the primary account holder of the Rogers account and you need to add a level one authorized user to your account to complete the linking process, contact us here and select either Chat with us or Call us. When the Rogers account has been updated you will receive a confirmation email. Sign in to the Rogers Bank app to complete the linking process.
Accounts not Eligible
- You may not link to a Rogers account that has a 12-digit account number until other eligible services are added to your Rogers account. To link your Rogers Connections Mastercard, you will need to add a Rogers wireless service. You can sign in to your MyRogers account to add an eligible wireless service or contact Rogers here. Call the number on the back of your card for any further assistance.
- If you want to change the Rogers account you link to, you must first unlink through the Rogers Bank app and then link to your new Rogers account after 35 days have passed. Or if you prefer, you can call a Rogers Bank customer service representative at 1 855 775-2265 for assistance.
What Rogers services are eligible or excluded?

Eligible Rogers services
Home services:
- The service area includes New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario (except Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie).
- Rogers-branded internet
- TV
- Home Phone
- Home Monitoring
Excluded: Wireless Home Internet, Mobile Internet, and Rogers home services that are not paid for directly by the individual account holder, including when paid through condo fees or directly by a landlord.
Mobile services:
- Any postpaid Rogers-branded consumer wireless plan.
Excluded: Business/corporate, Rogers prepaid, wireless plans with chatr, Fido, or any other brands owned or acquired by Rogers and mobile Internet.
I’m having trouble linking my accounts. What should I do?

If you are experiencing an issue when linking your Rogers account to your Rogers Connections Mastercard account, consider the following:
- You can only link one Rogers account to one Rogers Connections Mastercard account.
- You should make sure your Rogers account is in good standing before attempting to link it to your Connections Mastercard account.
- Your Rogers Connections Mastercard account and Rogers account should have similar contact information to complete the linking steps.
- If your contact information is not on the Rogers account, you may need to contact the primary account holder of the Rogers account and request that they add you to the account as a level 1 authorized user. The primary account holder of the Rogers account can contact Rogers here and select either Chat with us or Call us. Once your information is updated, you can try to link accounts again in the Rogers Bank app.
- You should make sure your Rogers account is in good standing before attempting to link it to your Rogers Connections Mastercard account.
- If your Rogers account has a 12-digit account number you may need to add eligible Rogers wireless services to your Rogers account. You can sign in to your MyRogers account to add an eligible wireless service or contact Rogers here.
- If you continue to have issues, linking your account contact Rogers Bank at 1 855 775-2265 for help.
What do I do If I do not see my phone number displayed when I link my accounts?

If your phone number is not displayed, you should contact the primary account holder of the Rogers account to add your name as a level 1 authorized user.
The primary account holder can select either Chat with us or Call us and speak with a customer care representative to add you as a level 1 authorized user.

Unlink
How do I unlink my MyRogers account from my Rogers Connections Mastercard account?

You can unlink your Rogers account from your Rogers Connections Mastercard account in the Rogers Bank app. By unlinking your account, you will no longer receive 5 Roam Like Home™ days at no cost every year and 2% unlimited cash back rewards on all eligible purchases if you have qualifying Rogers Wireless and Home Services.1,2
- Sign in to the Rogers Bank app.
- Tap More on the navigation screen on the home page.
- Tap Unlink Rogers account.
- Follow the prompts to unlink your account.
When you are ready to link your Rogers Connection Mastercard account with your Rogers account, sign into the Rogers Bank app to review the date when you can link your account again.
- Roam Like Home is provided by Rogers Communications Canada Inc. ("Rogers") and available to most Rogers customers with an eligible postpaid wireless plan (most enterprise plans, monthly plans that include roaming services as well as prepaid accounts are excluded). You will automatically be credited up to 5 Roam Like Home days per year on your Rogers bill once you link your Rogers Connections Mastercard account to your Rogers postpaid account and eligible wireless plan. Both accounts must be in good standing. Unused Roam Like Home days at no cost do not carry over to the following year. See rogers.com/terms for full Roam Like Home terms and conditions.
- You will earn 2% cash back rewards on eligible purchases made in US dollars and 1% cash back rewards on all other eligible purchases. If you are a Rogers customer that is subscribed to a Rogers wireless postpaid phone plan and an eligible Rogers Home service and you link your Rogers Bank account to your Rogers account(s), you will earn 2% cash back rewards on all eligible purchases provided that your Rogers Bank account and your Rogers account(s) are in good standing. Eligible Rogers Home services include internet (excluding wireless home internet and mobile internet), TV, home phone or home monitoring in New Brunswick Newfoundland and Labrador or Ontario (except Thunder Bay and Salt Ste. Marie). Cash back rewards are earned on eligible purchases or deducted for returns on a per-transaction basis based on the posting date of the transaction. Cash advances, balance transfers, cash-like transactions, interest, fees, insurance premiums and payments are not eligible purchases and do not qualify. Minimum redemption amount is $10 CAD. Cash back rewards can be redeemed online through the Rogers Bank app towards purchases or requested in the form of a statement credit annually. Account must be open and in good standing to earn and redeem cash back rewards. Foreign currency transactions are converted to Canadian dollars at the rate established by Mastercard International in effect on or after the date of the transaction and no later than the date the transaction is posted to the account plus an amount equal to 2.5% of the transaction amount after it has been converted to Canadian dollars.
